This weeks post has had me giddy for the last few days and it starts with a few simple questions.
Do you feel like:
- You have tried to lose weight and cannot?
- You have no energy?
- You are not healthy?
- You are STUCK at the weight that you're at now?
- You are doomed to be burried in a piano box?
- You are addicted to eating food the way you do now?
- You cannot afford to eat healthy?
Because of youtube… I can't embed it so you will have to go check it out, then come back. … I'll wait.
Basically the reason I love this video SO MUCH is that it goes into great detail about what my diet was like before I did the raw shake thing ^^^ 60% processed foods, 30% meats, 5% grains, and I was lucky if I got 5% fruits and veggies, and those 5% were often cooked so that any benefit they would have given me was washed away or burned by the heat.
It's been two and a half months since I started doing the raw vegan shake diet, and it's very hard to quantify the change… my weight is more stable than ever before, today at the gym I was able to run over two miles non stop, then go do my regular work out, that kind of energy was unimaginable and totally unrealistic to me before. What's more important to me is that this is a change of life, I'm not walking around feeling clean and knowing that how I look now is as 'fat' as I'll ever look…. that's the kind of confidence that you can't buy from a bottle, no matter what pills they are. (lol perhaps some heavy stuff that destroys your brain can do it, but I don't think you want that in your system either.)
Bottom line: I used to eat like that ^ and didn't feel great and could easiy (and DID) say all of those things "I've tried to lose weight and cannot", "I'm stuck at this weight" and "I'm addicted to the way I'm eating now." Now I feel like a super hero, I look like a super hero, and I have the energy of a super hero. I suggest adding the raw vegan shakes to your diet or trying something like the juice fasting detox talked about in "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead." (another plug for that movie, IF you haven't seen it, but do want to be healthy watch it! If you don't want to be healthy… watch it anyway!
You can also watch it on Netflix, or rent it through youtube.
Have you seen the movie? Do you have thoughts on this way of eating?
