I've heard I'm a good parent, it seems that at least 50% of the time I take the kids to a restaurant someone stops by and tells me that they are well behaved and I've been complimented more times than I can count when out and about.
Do I have a secret to good parenting? I do, what works extra great for me is that I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. (I'm a Mormon)
There's a quote by the Prophet Joseph Smith that demonstrates my goal in parenting:
"I teach them correct principles, and they govern themselves."
- Perhaps I can do a picture like this every year.
My single most important role and responsiblity is to teach them what's right, what's wrong… and what is expected from them. A task like that is one that comes with heavenly help.
